    THE BEAR MOUNTAIN MOGUL CHALLENGE

    https://www.killington.com/things-to-do/events/bmmc-results

Killington’s annual rite of spring, the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge, has drawn bump enthusiasts to Outer Limits—the longest and steepest mogul run in the East—since 1981. It has launched many careers, including Olympic Gold Medalist Donna Weinbrecht and US Ski team member Hannah Soar and spawned even more local legends, including the time someone actually brought their pet donkey to the event. In addition to the competition, the party is not to be missed, with tailgaters gathering in the wee morning hours for the all-day celebration.

Each year as the spring sun warms the legendary bumps, the best amateur bumpers gather to show off their stuff on a course that pairs tight bump lines and airtime opportunities. The top 32 men and 16 women face off in head-to-head battles with the judges rewarding both speed and style to advance the winners. Winning comes with fabulous prizes and bragging rights galore, as 8 new names are added to the three-tier mogul cup trophy, etched into Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge history forevermore. Over the years, it has grown to include more than 240 names… will you be next?
